Inspired by the theme “Capture the Moment,” my pin design features a classic Polaroid camera printing out a photo that embodies both Oklahoma and BPA. The camera is customized with BPA’s blue and red colors, while the photo captures iconic Oklahoma symbols—the scissortail bird and a bison—along with handwritten-style text, mimicking the personal touch of writing on a real Polaroid picture! I began my design process by sketching ideas in Procreate. Once I had a clear vision of how I wanted the pin to look, I transitioned to Adobe Illustrator to bring the concept to life. To ensure everything would be clear at the final size, I printed several 1-inch versions of the design, checking that both the text and graphics remained legible when scaled down. The black areas of the design will represent the pin's black metal. Additionally, I’m exploring the possibility of including a light in the flash portion of the camera to enhance the design and create a unique interactive element.
